Scott C. Borison has lectured extensively to lawyers on consumer protection, trial advocacy, class actions, mortgage litigation, foreclosure, debt collection, credit reporting, bankruptcy, privacy, and related subjects.

His teaching has included national programs, state and local bar programs, and international legal education.

International Program

In 2020, Scott presented on “Consumer Privacy” in an Attorney General Alliance Africa consumer-protection program conducted in collaboration with the University of Pretoria. The program brought together participants from the United States, South Africa, and other jurisdictions.

Maryland Foreclosure Education

Following Maryland’s foreclosure-law reforms, Scott taught about the new laws and their practical implementation, including a Maryland Judicial Conference presentation with Vicki Schultz, who was then working with Maryland Labor Secretary Thomas Perez on the State’s foreclosure response.
